Shree Radha Rani – The Goddess Of Eternal Love.
Radha Ashtami: Radha was born on the Ashtami Tithi of the Bhadrapad month, Anuradha Nakshatra, 12 noon and Monday was the day, the day is celebrated as Radha Ashtami.
Radha As A Daughter: Radha Rani was born as the daughter of Village Head Vrishabhanu and Kirtida in Rawal village near Gokul-Mahavan town in Mathura district.Then she was bought up in Barsana.
Radha As Gopi: Gopi refers to the person who take care of cows. Radha is the most important Gopi in Raas according to Radha chalisa. Gopis are said to exemplify Suddha bhakti which is described as ‘the highest form of unconditional love for God’.
Radha As Radha Rani: Radha is also called Vrindavaneshwari , which means Queen of the Sri Vrindavan Dham. She appeared as the queen of Vrindavan–Barsana as she helped villagers and guide them on behalf of her father.
Radha As Hladini Shakti: Radha is praised as Hladini Shakti which means blissful energy of Lord Shree Krishna. She is considered to be Krishna’s original shakti, the supreme goddess in both the Nimbarka Sampradaya and following the advent of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also within the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.
Radha As Devotee Of Krishna: Radha’s connection to Krishna is of two types: Svakiya-Rasa which means married relationship and Parakiya-Rasa which means a relationship signified with eternal mental “love”.
It is a very common and old saying that Krishna accompanies one who chants “Radha” with pure heart.
